As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of CitNOW, the leading automotive video company, I am proud to be able to say that I played a major part in revolutionising the automotive retail experience by introducing app-based customer video into the sales and servicing process. Launching in 2008 (working from my kitchen table) through to eventual exit in 2018, we grew CitNOW to a global £1 million a month, 7000+ subscription based revenue business, employing 100 people in multiple countries.From day one, we had a firm belief that by using our video service, we could enable any car dealer or technician anywhere in the world with a superpower called “Trust”. We believed that trust and transparency released customer joy that brought huge rewards back to the automotive retailer. We left an indelible mark on the automotive industry and have forever changed the way we buy, sell and service cars.As COO, my job was to manage this exponential growth, creating client-focused order out of the chaos that naturally occurs with a company that's growing as fast. I did this by employing great people, whilst managing our business systems to work for - not against - us. Continuous improvement was our everyday mantra, achieved by prioritising customer service and constantly challenging process and workflow.

Zip Television was a unique venture where we challenged the norm - and the industry giants - in UK TV advertising. Garnering a consortium of 12 of the UK's top 50 advertisers, Zip developed a successful interactive television channel, broadcasting immersive advertising content on behalf of our clients that meant consumers willingly spent several minutes, not just seconds, with a brand. The results achieved and data gathered were unique and the learning unprecedented - paving the way for the future success at CitNOW.
