• (MFG DIV. 6/86-2/88) - Responsible for all phases of SDLC including business process re-engineering, requirements definition and documentation, software engineering, software QA, user acceptance testing, data conversion and migration, implementation and support using a 4GL on IBM mainframe for: Lot Date Coding, Tooling, Budgeting, and Assembly Kitting modules. Developed operational prototypes, customized end-user reports and on-line help, developed data migration plans, and converted data from legacy system to new database. • (MFG DIV. 6/84-1/86) - Responsible for implementing a nightly batch download of the Engineering system’s “Bill of Material” structure (written in a 3GL) to the Manufacturing system’s “Part/Assembly” structure (written in a 4GL). Responsible for business process re-engineering, requirements definition, software engineering, and software QA. Wrote conversion programs in 4GL to initially download the data, and nightly batch interface programs to update the data. Designed database, interfaced with logical/physical design staff from the Engineering Division, wrote data migration plans which described how the legacy system would pass data to the new database. • (ENGRG DIV. 8/82-6/84) - Developed an operational prototype Engineering “Bill of Material” system using a 4GL. Coded programs, wrote specifications, and conducted demonstrations for managers interested in converting from their existing flat file legacy system to a database system.
