Researcher for a joint Government of Alberta project to examine drivers for land cover changes in the Oil Sand Region of Alberta. Tasks include GIS analysis, data sourcing and QA/QC, Python scripting, and technical writing.

Developing GIS and remote sensing products from flight-mounted sensor data, including visible, NIR, SWIR and thermal bands. This project includes software selection, QA/QC of image processing, research and development of workflows and products including wildlife detection, moisture monitoring, change detection and pipeline integrity.

My role was to assist the CEO, research potential university tech-transfer and entrepreneurship, and interact with construction, leasing, development and other business teams to ensure seamless communication.
