Hired as the first ever human resource professional, I had the pleasure of building the human resource function from the ground up for this boutique public accounting and consulting firm. From hiring through separation, my goal was to provide a uniquely engaging experience for each employee. I developed an in-depth new hire orientation, performance management, 360 Degree Feedback and mentor programs, as well as full cycle benefit management. I earned my human resource stripes in this global public accounting and consulting firm. Starting as the Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner in Atlanta, I was exposed to the business of management consulting. I officially started my career in human resources managing the assignments of consultants to projects, moving on to the Training and Development team where I was responsible for developing and delivering a week long new hire/intro to Management Consulting training program. I was then selected to lead PwC’s newly initiated remote Human Resource Response Team supporting over 10K management consultants across the U.S. and managing a team of 8-12 human resource professionals.
