Graduated from UAS Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Natural Resource Policy Summer 2019.Experience in federal, state, and tribal governance discussions regarding health care, education, and infrastructure projects by engaging local communities to promote self-determination for improved outcomes of Alaska's First People. My background includes working for the Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation, Calista Corporation, SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium and Alaska Gasline Development Corporation on a variety of high level projects including infrastructure funding, grant administration and branding overhaul and communications initiatives. I continue to commit a large effort to Alaska's youth, having been a teacher prior to my pursuit of program development and have non-profit board experience with Spirit of Youth and the Alaska Center for Public Policy. I believe in responsible and ethical public policy as well as higher education and enhanced infrastructure in rural areas as a life-long investment with rural Alaska's needs in mind. A former school teacher, I have coached, judged, and volunteered with NYO and World Eskimo Indian Olympics events and volunteer to support small schools public broadcasting for basketball broadcasts.Specialties/interests: ANCSA, public policy, government affairs, natural resources, stakeholder relations, non-profits, market research, economic trends, tribal governance, branding and identity, board ethics, and marketing and community engagement.
