Supervised multiple teams comprising 3 direct and 16 indirect reports within SAO, including Gift Card and Credit Operations, Target.com Sales Audit, Check Processing Support, Quality Assurance and Central Processing Center Systems Analysts.• Drove the process improvements related to the reporting and recovery of Missing Sales in collaboration with the Point of Sale TTS teams which reduced the need to open 30+ incidents per day to an average of 2 resulting in more accurate and timely reporting of store sales. • Ensure applications in SAO are SOX, PCI and GLBA compliant.• Served on several cross functional teams representing SAO and Target.com as Subject Matter Expert when developing new initiatives and implementing new systems. • Increased efficiencies by Integrating Gift Card and Credit processes for Canada expansion into headquarters teams without adding to staff by evaluating current processes and moving functions where appropriate. • Restructured the daily processing of exceptions using ReconNET which resulted in a savings of 2 FT headcount and maintained the relationships with our internal and external partners throughout the project.

Supervised and developed the Gift Card Operations team. This process and team evolved from the managing of Gift Card inventory in the Stores to fulfilling Bulk orders for B2B guests as well as the balancing of the Liability Account. Many of which responsibilities eventually moved to more appropriate teams within the organization.• Developed balancing reports to identify differences between the Gift Card database and Sales Audit system. • Developed and implemented policies and procedures to resolve the differences between the Gift Card database and General Ledger.• Successfully streamlined processes which resulted in the ability to decrease staff through attrition while maintaining an excellent level of service to guests.• Implemented a systematic process to replace lost/stolen Gift Cards for Target Guests. This included working with TTS on the design, testing and implementation of changes to our Gift Card database. This resulted in roughly an 80% time savings for this process.• Played an instrumental role in the combining the Gift Card functions of Marshall Fields and Mervyns into the Target Organization. This also included the eventual split of the department based on staffing and responsibilities for segregation of duties.
