Buying homes, moving frequently, and living in different neighborhoods and environments throughout the country, I gained an appreciation for the intricacies of real estate. Now back in my home state and residing in Smithfield, I attended the Alpha School of Real Estate in Newport News and got my Real Estate license in 2000. I worked real estate in the Tidewater area until 2005, becoming an award-winning agent as well as mentoring new agents, eagerly passing along my knowledge and expertise to fellow Realtors. Before becoming a Realtor, I have been a professional groomer, and I have worked with animals at veterinarian clinics and worked at the Humane Society of North Texas in Ft. Worth. Having grown up on a farm, I have a great love for animals. So it was particularly gratifying for me when my husband and I moved back to rural central Virginia in 2005. Continuing to work as a Realtor, I now set my sights on owning my own brokerage to establish a real estate company whose agents appreciated and understood the heart of Virginia and its real estate markets. I acquired my Broker's license in September of 2008 and opened HomeLife Access Realty in November of 2011.I am a hardworking broker who cares about my agents and our clients. I believe in the right of home ownership and helping our clients achieve their goals.
