Support the transformation by leading cross-functional teams in review, development and implementation of global processes and procedures, and policy harmonization across brands.

Led global sourcing projects and contract negotiations for the Novartis travel program, provided service to over 40,000 associates with global T&E spend of $800M. Managed supplier relationships and evaluated performance against contractually agreed targets. Identified technology and innovative solutions to promote compliance and drive savings to achieve a best-in-class program status. Facilitated RFPs for travel supplier base i.e.; airline, lodging, ground, TMC, credit card, technology and more. Identify and implement measures for automation and process efficiency for continued improvement of the customer experience.

Recruited to transition the 60-country travel program to align with the separation from the parent company. The effort included implementing a new TMC and booking technologies, facilitating RFPs and establishing supplier programs for air, rail, lodging and ground transportation to stand up the global travel program, which supported 10,000 business travelers, with T&E spend of $200M. The role also included transitioning the 1000 vehicle fleet. The result was a seamless transition of the fleet management function, which included the revision of the vehicle selector to align with the needs of the animal health salesforce, and developing a concise communication and training strategy to help colleagues navigate through the process and policy changes.

Responsible for the management of the travel and fleet programs with a $300M budget, serving 10,000 travelers and 2,500 fleet drivers. Managed a direct staff of 6, international affiliate teams and outsourced resources. Collaborated with global operating companies to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process standardization. Managed travel agency and fleet management relationships, as well as, all suppliers within the respective categories i.e.; air, lodging, ground transportation, technology, credit card, vehicle OEMs, etc. Facilitated all related RFPs and managed supplier relationships and performance.
