In fact, I was one of the first EcoBrokers in Northern Arizona. My aim is to do my part to move the real estate and building industries toward greater energy-efficiency and sustainability and to promote healthier designs and features in homes, buildings and landscapes. In February 2009, I became the first realtor in Northern AZ to earn NAR's GREEN designation. My EcoBroker® & GREEN designations along with my training in Permaculture design and application is a potent combination that I use to help my clients find and create comfortable homes and landscapes that have less impact on the planet, yet don't sacrifice comfort or aesthetics. Permaculture is a wholistic design system based on care of the Earth and its inhabitants, through smart design and efficient use of natural resources. Pre-Real Estate, I have been an owner and operator of a popular vegetarian, natural foods restaurant, community activist, home school mother and manager of a small distribution warehouse.
