Project ManagerHome Connects Lending Services Jul 2006 - Dec 2007coordinated with the IT Network team to refurbish and upgrade 160+ laptops and desktops, accessories and printers that were utilized to support a new ASP based vendor system which was utilized by the business partner to support the title, flood, appraisal and tax search business. This saved the company approximately $200,000.00. Through this process the team and I were able to have a number of servers, phones, desktops, and printers decommissioned. Coordinated with the 3rd party vendor and the IT Data Warehouse team in the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) process utilized by Home Connects to retrieve system data from vendor system (Vision) and transmit to EDAP (data warehouse for GMAC). Created documentation which defined tables and outlined processes to load data into Home Connects owned tables for reporting. Coordinated with the business partner and vendor the project which was used to set the standards for data retention.Was responsible for validating and obtaining management approval for all invoices from vendors for system work. Verified invoices to Project Management System to ensure the work was completed and met the approved costs. Provided feedback to management for any discrepancies.Managed and developed 4 junior business analysts and a quality assurance analyst. Was the liaison between vendor, business partner and IT groups to manage, prioritize, document requirements, and create test cases utilized by IT and business groups to test changes and upgrades in relation to system. There was a system change release every 6 weeks which included between 15 and 30 changes. Changes were small (field changes), medium (adding fields to reports and data warehouse tables), and large (automating EDI interface for appraisals). I provided management with weekly reports on project statuses.Interfaced with all levels of management to ensure that a multitude of business units benefited in relation to time and money by changes that were instituted. -
