During this time, I worked with headquarters to create new marketing collateral, was an expert contributor for local and national publications on senior living issues, conducted market research to better define our new services and developed strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to expand our service offerings, to include on-site physician services and on-going CE programs for professionals.

During my 17 year tenure with Integrace, a not-for-profit trail blazer in senior living, I grew tremendously and served in several roles that refined my strong skills in marketing and sales, leadership, project management, and strategic growth and innovation.As the Strategic Marketing Manager, I held a leadership position that provided marketing oversight, sales, advertising and training support for the health care sales team company-wide. Healthcare occupancy grew by 15% through the development of a strategic marketing and outreach plan. Through effective leadership and collaboration, I played a key role in driving growth and innovation within the organization by introducing a digital marketing strategy, spearheading a company-wide technology project, executing the use of transformational language across service lines and creatively supporting a successful brand transition.

Utilizing my marketing and leadership experience, I provided high level oversight (on a part-time basis) for the marketing efforts of Buckingham's Choice while serving as a consultant and trainer for EMA management, a division that provided administrative and marketing expertise to outside senior living organizations. As a team we maintained occupancy of 98% and greater, developed a key strategic partnership with a move management company, grew our referral relationships, increased lead generation through targeted cold calling and consistent follow-up and refined our inter-departmental communication to ensure a seamless move-in experience for residents!

Frederick, Maryland

Led the marketing and sales efforts of a new, not-for-profit Life Plan community consisting of 217 independent living residential homes, 45 assisted living apartments and 41 skilled nursing private suites. Successful in maintaining a tight budget while achieving occupancy goals of 98% and greater. Managed and mentored a team of three sales colleagues. Gave the residents a voice and a role in partnering with our team to introduce prospects to our community as well as welcome them to their new home. The Resident Ambassador program was instrumental in supporting our success in achieving high occupancy, resident satisfaction and supporting a meaningful experience for all.
