As a full-time novelist I look for inspiration everywhere. And sometimes it finds me. We purchased a new car recently and I walked away with not only a free oil change, but a book contract to write the greatest love story yet to be told. The salesman we worked with has a real life story of the art of the chase, homelessness, joblessness, faith, fate and true love that lasts more than thirty years. It's in process now, but watch for a potential Lifetime Movie with this story. It's a true life Romeo and Juliette and they both live to tell about it. Since leaving gainful employment, I have released a fun children's book called "Frankie the Pencil goes exploring" and I have written and self-published a novella, "Instrument of Courage," edited a memoir for a legendary Williamson County, Tenn. sheriff, "A Tennessee Sheriff: Williamson County Cases 1970-1990," and am working with two new authors, one future fiction writer and one non-fiction writer. I am also working on my debut novel, a full-length thriller, "Shrimp Dancing With The Undesirables," which I plan to have published by early spring of 2014. Everyone has a story to tell.
