About Donna Patane

Hi there! I'm an IP and business lawyer and FNQ's first registered trade marks attorney. I spend my days providing businesses, entrepreneurs and researchers with expert advice to help protect and get their innovative and novel products, processes and services to market. I also spend a fair bit of time protecting and fighting about brands for all kinds of SMEs. As of 2024 I am an Adviser for the new Industry Growth Program. The IGP supports innovative small and medium enterprises undertaking commercialisation and/or growth projects within the National Reconstruction Fund priority areas through advisory services and opportunities for matched grant funding.Away from the desk I'm an entertainer from way back so I love doing speaking and MC gigs where my aim is to make sure we all learn something and have fun.
