I was a full time Year 3/4 class teacher. Therefore my duties include planning, teaching, marking and assessing of children’s work. In addition, I am also the science co-ordinator and the PE co-ordinator for the whole school. I monitor lessons, track children’s progression throughout the year, order resources, arrange tournaments, visits and trips relating to my subjects.

For 2 years I taught year 3, of which I was responsible for the planning, teaching and learning of my class. Which included marking, assessing abilities and recognising those children that require extra support. During my final year at Kingsthorne I taught a year 5 class for 2 terms. This was very insightful and enabled me to teach higher ability maths to level 4 children. I was also a netball coach for the year 5/6 netball team, carrying out practices each week during a lunch time.
