Have you or someone you know thought about adoption as a means to starting or expanding your family? Please consider the hundreds of children of all ages who, by no fault of their own, are in state care and in need of families. As an adoptive parent of 3 beautiful little ones, I feel very strongly about spreading the word about the needs and hopes of the many children in state care, and helping educate prospective parents that state adoptions are an affordable, mutually gratifying and joyous option. If not looking to adopt, please consider the many other ways you can help us help children in state care. Adoption Rhode Island is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to finding families for children in state care and supporting those children and families throughout the adoption process. We also provide child, youth and family support services, education, training, advocacy, and referrals. We are proud to have found adoptive families for more than 1,800 children, over the years, but there are hundreds of others in Rhode Island at any given time who need forever families.
