I bear over twenty three years of experience in a multitude of management, financial, data management and administrative disciplines across the United States Department of Defense, Department of State, and private commercial sector. I have over 6 years of experience working with Middle Eastern and Asian cultures. Thirteen years were spent working in the financial industry. My prior position entailed working in Afghanistan as a Management Services Specialist within the NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan and Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan. The program management organization I worked for was responsible for the oversight of 5 major government contracts (totaling over 1.8 billion USD) that provided the Training, Mentoring and Sustainment of Afghanistan Forces. Upon my return to the United States, I accepted an internship for Public Building Services with General Services Administration (GSA). Currently, I am a GS 12. I am a certified Contracting Officer Representative, Level II through the Federal Acquisition Institute. I am an experienced organization and staff manager, having worked with Bank of America as the manager of Customer Account Access Monitoring (CAAM), Information Protection, and as the organization and operations manager for the American Employees Welfare Association in Kuwait (U.S. Department of State). Prior to Afghanistan, I worked for the Office of Military Cooperation- Kuwait, Security Assistance and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). I have attended the Defense Institute of Security Assistance Management (DISAM) as well as I am certified as an Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor through the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI).
