The SMPS is a community of business professionals, creating an organization promoting relevant business practices as well as act as a network to connect professionals in the architecture, engineering and construction industries.The Communications Committee of the SMPS acts as a unit to create media communications for upcoming events and developmental projects. We are the main source of communications connecting fellow departments with updates and information on new available resources. We also create and design media projects and graphics to connect our members to professional development resources.

UCA is a student-run organization dedicated to promoting interest and experience in the field of communications. The goal of UCA is to bridge the gap between students and professionals within the field and provide resources in the transition to professional careers.My responsibilities as a member of the Corporate Outreach division include organizing the largest communications networking panel on UC Berkeley campus and various company visits. Representatives that have participated in our events include: Google, LinkedIn, Salesforce, Pinterest, Twitter, and Yelp. I also contact businesses weekly to organize networking opportunities and form relationships with industry and alumni for club members.

AURUM is the first and only club at UC Berkeley that comprehensively follows the beauty industry. The research team takes a holistic approach, looking at everything from the science and formulations, to marketing and networking. This semester (Spring '19) our intensive project focus was on the formulation of skin butters. We take a scientific approach to experiment, write notes, and test different ingredients used for fragrance, butter, and other cosmetic products. We also hold networking events with top cosmetic companies like Bissoance, Loreal, and Sephora to expose members to all aspects of the beauty industry: marketing and advertising, product development, R&D, supply chain and operations, and more.

The ASUC is known as the largest and most autonomous student organization in the nation, and is the officially-recognized student association at the University of California, Berkeley. The Community Development Division takes collective action to see where we can help spread awareness and get departmental offices more widely recognized within the Berkeley community to bring about social change. We work with city council members, the Berkeley chancellor, and Berkeley senators and represent over 1,000 clubs and organizations on campus to address matters regarding the Berkeley campus community.

Nest Filler Packaging is one of Orange County's fastest-growing product packaging firms working with major corporations such as Proctor & Gamble, Estee Lauder Companies, Unilever, and more! Some of my responsibilities included executing internal projects from conception to completion, working cross-functionally with product/design managers, packaging engineers, oversea suppliers, and providing packaging material information, production lead times, quotes, pre-production samples, shipping costs and the end product.
