As Music Director (MD), My primary responsibilities included leading/directing the band, scheduling band rehearsals, organizing and coordinating music, planning and strategizing. I also led other rehearsals with the choirs and praise teams at the discretion of the Fine Arts Director/Minister of music. I performed various administrative task for the Fine Arts Director and Ministry which include planning meetings, rehearsals and schedules.I also served as one of the praise and worship leaders and led other songs with choirs and ensembles. As a musician, I was required to play or provide musicians for various worship services, funerals and other events associated with Mount Pleasant Church and Ministries.I am a keyboardist, organist and pianist. My skills involve playing the Hammond B3, Rodgers Organ and various workstation keyboards such as the Yamaha Motif/S-series, Roland synths and workstations, and Korg keyboards. I am skilled with various DAW programs for production and live such as Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Mainstage, and Native Instruments.

My responsibilities as the Fine Arts Director/Minister of music involved general oversight and leadership of the Fine Arts Ministry. This ministry involved music, dance and drama presentations for worship and events. I was responsible for creative planning and strategizing the Fine Arts presentation for worship. Responsibilities also included musical planning for weekly worship services, rehearsal preparation and planning for choirs, praise teams and band, team leadership, building, meeting, planning, and servant leadership. I networked and collaborated with other ministry leaders of Mount Pleasant to fulfill the mission of the Fine Arts Ministry of the church.

Leader/overseer of the music ministry. My primary responsibility was leading the music ministry of Faith United. My oversight included all choirs, praise teams and band members. I was responsible for coordinating music for worship, events, rehearsal schedules and development. I was licensed as an associate minister in June 2000 and later ordained in April 2005 at Faith United by the Senior Pastor, Franklin Peterson, Jr. The Ordination Council included Bishop Clifford M. Johnson Jr, Bishop Earl A. Ross, Pastor Franklin Peterson Jr, Evangelist Clarence Morton, Pastor Antonio McDonald, Pastor Melvin Murphy. As an associate minister I assisted the senior pastor of Faith United in full time ministry by performing administrative duties as well as ministerial duties which included meetings, preaching, wedding ceremonies, funerals, visitation, teach bible study, preforming representation of the church and senior pastor on his behalf.
