Throughout my life, I have carefully tended the planet I call home, learning from personal experience and from the teachings of other experienced land stewards. I have served in administrative capacity for entities dedicated to responsible land management and business practices. I continually keep abreast of our agricultural future through participation in educational and professional organizations. I have managed my own and other’s ranches throughout my adult life as well as provided professional consultant services. With a natural gift for diplomacy and true dedication for the best outcome for all, I have skillfully navigated through political agencies which govern public resource rights. Since the late 1980’s, after embracing Savory’s paradigm-shattering approach to resource management, I have consistently applied a holistic, sustainable method to all aspects of life. The goal I had set for myself then and which I have consistently followed is no different from most other beings on planet Earth: a desire for a healthy, vibrant community.My daily routine encompasses the whole picture: 1) animal welfare 2) continual improvement of infrastructure 3) environmental protection and restoration 4) patient mentoring 5) planning 45-120 days in advance.I care for my employer's resources as if my own. With an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to collaborate, excellent listening skills, willingness and broad experience to pitch in and help, focus on customer service, and a passion for a job well done.My life path has rewarded me with extensive experience in practically every aspect of ranching, dedication and enthusiasm for raising healthful food, teaching the benefits of clean agricultural practices, complete commitment to the best overall solution. There is no occupation I consider more important: raising healthful, clean food in a sustainable manner; having one-on-one relationship with the animals in my care; sharing knowledge and experience with my fellowman.
