• Reporting to the CHRO, I was responsible for the creation, development, strategy, execution and training of the talent acquisition function for this $10B, Fortune 500, global, manufacturing, recycling, fabrication, and distribution company established in 1915. • Working as a business partner to understand the needs of internal customers and delivered quality candidates to provide a competitive advantage resulting in savings (cost avoidance) in excess of $7M in search fees. • Utilized metrics (source of hire, time-to-fill, interview-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, and quality of hire) to improve SLAs with internal stakeholders, the talent acquisition function and quality of talent entering the organization.• Focused on employer branding and created guidelines for the talent acquisition function by creating a social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to attract and secure talent. • Spearheaded recruitment technology (ATS, VMS, Video Interviewing) to leverage the efforts of the talent acquisition function. • Created strategy for securing talent for a global SAP implementation (v. ECC 6.0, all modules, blueprinting phase through deployment)• Successfully supported 2 different CIOs in restructuring the IT organization due to the company's evolution to align with changing business demands.• Successfully hired, developed and coached a Recruiting team to assist with increased volume due to credibility established with internal customers. • Worked closely with external/internal attorneys on immigration related matters involving foreign nationals.
