• Successfully implemented PayNow Corporate with high market penetration into the corporate sector (65% market share on launch date alone). • Led a team of technical staff and business users in 2014 to migrate the aging eGIRO system at OCBC to the much more advanced G3 Payments system (FAST, or Fast And Secure Transfers). • Achieved S$350,000 cost savings within the S$40m migration project through tight cost control and time savings measures.• Reaped over S$0.5m from savings in quality control and application testing through faster turnaround times and significantly less reworks following the implementation of Automated Testing tool (Tricentis TOSCA). This was achieved through training and developing skills of team members on testing strategies• Also employed Robotics Process Automation to save time and costs in implementing customer entitlement settings and algorithms for exception handling. • Completed major project Payment Service Hub to expand payment and collection systems from 30 to 120 countries with greatly enhanced capabilities for customers (including billing organisations) to choose between time or fee-sensitive options for transfers. Deliverables of the near 2-year project includes Anti Money Laundering screenings, in-country regulatory requirement validations, messaging format translations, marketing campaigns, billing and pricing.• Implemented interface for feeding real-time transactional forex rates from Treasury into Payment Service Hub, which boosted the raw spread on intraday forex rates for customers and enables sales and business units to target pips (price interest point) of less than 10 and compete better against Western Union and new money transfer operators. • Demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills throughout the Payment Service Hub project in leading a large multidisciplinary team.

• Successfully implemented a groundbreaking new interbank dealer broker platform (BGC Trader) for Asian Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDF) with electronic pricing capability that greatly enhance the traditionally voice brokered market. It extended the company’s capability to livestream prices to banks for price aggregation. (NDF forward contracts are mostly on currencies and commodities.)• The new platform boosted demand for screens among customers, and helped to win new accounts from traders who had relied on only voice trading. Launched the new platform with sweetener of lower brokerage rates, which also helped to boost overall brokerage fee income. Over 75% of banks that trade Asian NDF in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan use BGC Trader screen - these include major global banks headquartered in US, Europe, China and Japan.• Led and managed numerous forex project rollouts, including Straight-Through-Processing (STP) solutions like Reuters RTNS, proprietary STP solutions for bonds and CDS with major banks in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The improvement in processing efficiencies was very-well received by both traders and support staff.• Delivered very well-received function of auction-style electronic trading to traders with the implementation of “Volume Match” module in BGC Trader, which delivers higher rates of trade matching.• Interpersonal skills in managing the various projects were noted in a testimonial by Paul Lim, Head of NDF Desk: “Donnie has managed the project relationships very well with the project sponsors and project working committee.”

• Gained promotion to work – out of the London office - on the automated forex trading system, with integrated feeds from Bloomberg and Reuters to develop the vital liquidity pool for trade signals. The successful rollout of the system led to twin benefits - higher trade volume and reduced trading staff.• The new system also enabled greater management of trading risks with market neutral quantitative methods, and automated hedging of open positions. The use of mathematical models for synthetic currencies was crucial to validate the Proof of Concept using 10 years of historical data.• Secured selection for the company-sponsored Master of Finance degree programme – with 2-year bond - based on strong performance and length of service. • Delivered very-well received technical support as part of Asia Ecommerce Support team headed by a Tokyo-based manager. The successful project cleared a 6-month work backlog within 2 weeks and allowed the redeployment of 6 FTEs from manual scanning to elsewhere.• Successfully implemented iServices, a handyman job portal, where service providers are able to advertise their skills and job offerings to NTUC Income customers. A key value proposition from this service is that NTUC Income provides a 90-day service warranty against any defects for the job done.
