About Donn Lindorfer

I am an Operations Director with over 15 years’ experience in retail store operations, labor management, and business leadership of IT system implementations.I currently serve as the Director of Professional Services - Store Operations at UNFI (formerly Supervalu), a food wholesaler with 30,000+ unique customer locations. In this role I am responsible for developing new operational services in the areas of Labor Management, Pricing, Center and Back of Store that can be sold as a service to UNFI wholesale customers by leveraging partnerships with vendors.Previous to this role, I was the Director of Store Operations at Supervalu, a grocery retailer with multiple brands, and supported in excess of 1,100 stores. In this role I was focused on the continuous improvement and support of front end, labor management, tags / signs, and other retail facing systems and processes. I serve as a key liaison between corporate and brand / store operations in order to identify, develop and implement new capabilities in service of our customers and stores. My prior role with Supervalu was the Director of Labor Management. In this role I was focused on developing an enterprise labor management capability to bring consistency and continuous improvement to the workforce management capability across Supervalu’s brands. Prior to joining Supervalu, I was the Director of Labor Management at Best Buy where I played a key leadership role continuously improving labor planning and scheduling processes. This focus on continuous improvement resulted in the creation of a Best in Class labor management capability.My business partners and peers know me as a trusted leader who drives business benefits through continuous improvement.
