As Engineering Supervisor , I was in charge of between 7-10 design engineers, (workload dependent) at Rapid, California. Aside from regular engineering duties (engineering for POP displays- acrylic, metal, wood, etc.; fabrication, casting, vac forming, injection molding, extruding, etc.), I was also tasked with scheduling, maintaining offsite engineers, setting up and implementing SolidWorks EPDM (company-wide), fine tuning/ developing department standards and procedures, and making sure the department was keeping up with technology (workstation upgrades, SW and PDM update/ upgrades, Team Viewer for better communication, etc.).

Designed various objects from POP displays, a memorial plaque/ sculpture (and fabricated) for a church, to decorative clasps for necklaces. Consulting, project management, and design engineering for full size, production quality prototypes and production pieces.

Manage the conceptualizing, engineering and manufacturing of production-quality prototypes for the high end beauty and cosmetics industry point-of-purchase displays; establish and manage critical vendor relationships to ensure exceptional quality, adherence to quick turn-around schedules and intricate specifications. Software knowledge: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and Basecamp Project Management software.Special projects: Utilize a variety of processes including rapid prototyping, standard production facilities and traditional model maker for numerous clients, including, but not limited to; Install high end prototypes at client locations, surpassing quality expectations, resulting in happy clients and continued business.

Influential in the creation and construction of Inventionland, a 70,000 square-foot state of the art production studio. Collaborated with clients and designers to create realistic, full-scale and working prototypes of client inventions; Utilized FDM machines as well as traditional tools and processes to include but not limited to woodworking, metal and plastics; Problem-solved projects to ensure accuracy of internal components and overall design.

Peacekeeper with the U.S. Army, Europe, to secure supply lines to the Balkan Peninsula.Special projects: One of six soldiers selected and deployed on special assignment to Kosovo - satellite tracking units on deployment vehicles, ensuring the safety of U.S. Army patrols.
