BC Geographic Data Warehouse Upgrade project - Project Manager. April 2013 - June 2015This is a very complex project that is upgrading the underlying infrastructure and vendor database and software systems for the 7x24 Provincial Geo-spatial Warehouse. The project impacts more than 200 client systems and processes. This project is currently under way.Data Centre migration for Provincial Geographic Data Warehouse and associated mapping services and infrastructure - Project Manager. May 2011 - March 2012Successfully migrated, transitioned, and in some cases upgraded, 40+ servers and more than 100 associated services to the new data centre location with no interruption to service. BC Government Main Web Presence Data Centre migration - Project Manager March 2011 - March 2012This project migrated the Provincial Main Web presence and infrastructure to the new Provincial data centre. During the migration, the project also transitioned the support model from an external vendor support model to an internal support model saving the Ministry approximately $600,000 annually. The project was completed on time and on budget.Enhanced Search for Provincial Web site - Project Manager September 2011 - March 2012This project provided a new, Enhanced Search capability utilizing Google Search Appliances for Provincial web site. This project also developed a software solution to utilize the new search infrastructure to provide enhanced search capability to web pages within the Provincial web site. This project was completed on time and on budget.

Provided pre-sales evaluational and engineering support to sales team. Evaluated existing data centres for functionality and efficiency and provided recommendations to clients for improvements. Designed complete data centres from conception to design submissions. Project managed the build of a custom mobile data centre for a remote mine site location.
