Growing up, I learned that just about everything could be taken apart and rebuilt. My little brain simply had to know how and why things worked the way they did. As I grew older, the toys and gadgets I played with turned into ideas and theorems. Books became my instruction manuals and taught me the principles that I sought. After reading a book in high school titled Naked Economics written by Charles Wheelan, my love quickly shifted to Economics. Now in college I am trying to understand how people interact using money and scarce resources. The idea of game theory and people's decision making fascinates me. Now as an aspiring economist, I will continue my formal education by obtaining a masters degree in economics. With a background in banking, I hope to eventually work for the Federal Reserve Bank.
