At Image G I fabricate custom motion control parts in the machine shop, Prep and rig cameras, dollies, model movers, and computers for stage and location shooting. In addition, I do the mechanical maintenence, repair, or testing of Image G rigs.

At Mega-Trax I assist with designing and fabricating the dolly and track systems. When we are on location I lead the track building team. The monorail track runs that we do are between 400 and 1400 feet long and the dolly can go up to 65MPH. It is typically used for high speed sporting events such as auto racing, although the system is also suitable for visual effects applications.

Identified and supplied missing design details for hardware and parts specifications to get the project to manufacturing. Supervised and/or consulted: ordering, and organisation of hardware, machined parts, and vender supplied sub-components. I machined, fabricated, and/or assembled various componenents of the ARC MOCO Volo V4. I currently provide in the field maintenence on previous Volo models.

I machine parts for A.E.T. when they need help. Ex. Actuator shafts for breakaway walls going to the Alcatraz feature at Disneyland.

I supplied the idea for a shipping container tower based design that utilized a rental of Image G's Bulldog track. I installed and interfaced the: stepper motor gearbox, dolly track, "fakie gearbox", controller and internet coupler node.
