Donovan Wolf is basically just another word for Wanderlust. He is absolutely addicted to traveling and indulging in any type of culture. His favorite way to learn about different lifestyles is by cooking their food. Wolf has worked and lived with natives from all around the world, cooking in some of the greatest restaurants in Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and New York City. He has lived on the volcanic beaches of Hawai’i’s Big Island, catching and preparing fresh salmon for locals and vacationers. In Italy, he spent time with a family in a small farm town where he picked fresh vegetables and herbs, as well as raised his own goats and sheep for slaughtering. Wolf is the kind of guy who can throw bark, herbs, water, and mushrooms in a pot and create a soup served in some of the finest restaurants around the world. He believes that everything in nature is a potential ingredient and often carries a bag with him to pick fresh herbs to use in the days to come. Adventure might as well be his middle name. He loves motor sports whether it’s in the water, on 4 wheels, or on two wheels, sky dives, scuba dives, and believes that wasting a minute is wasting a day. Experience is the only thing Wolf believes people should take with them in life, because to him, materialistic things are the least important. He can be seen wearing blue jeans, a white T, and a pair of Doc Martins. Not to mention, the ladies literally stop and stare when he walks by.He grew up in a cabin in Montana with his father who was a lumber jack. Donovan Wolf wasn’t his birth name. Members of the Blackfoot Tribe called him that, even though he wasn’t Native American. After a close friend passed away in a hunting accident, he decided to make the name permanent as a tribute. Luckilyy for him, Wolf literally means “devourer of food”. His love of cooking comes from the flavors of the earth and the exciting experiences life has to offer.

  Fleischer and Wolf met on one of Fleischer’s neighborhood walks in Charleston, South Carolina. Wolf was working at a farm to table restaurant, named The Earth. Having come from very little and learning to cook great meals on almost anything from stone and clay pots to ancient ovens, he believes that everyone should have access to great affordable cookware.Since joining forces, the pair who are rarely seen together have enlisted their rich connections and friends from around the world to form almost a secret society of chefs and foodies known as the Secret Society for Food (SSF). They find new tools and foods to provide for people everywhere. This includes products, cooking secrets and recipes from around the world. Their goal is to build the world’s largest data base of recipes, secrets and cookware that are geographically specific and readily available. The mission of Fleischer and Wolf is to give food lovers access to the tools, the food itself and the knowledge of how to prepare great meals.Fleischer and Wolf are tired of the celebrity chefs and choose to not be in the limelight. Instead they choose food over fame and feature other chefs and cooks like the members of SSF in their press and videos.
