I am an operations leader with over 15 years of experience in the consumer goods (B2B) and fintech/SaaS industries (B2B/B2C). I have a passion for helping people and I have used my skills in creative problem solving, process improvement, and customer relationship management to do so. At Purefy, I led the loan underwriting and customer success teams for a web-based student loan refinancing platform that helped over 35,000 families lower their student loan rates and save money. I was responsible for hiring, training, and supervising a nationally recognized, award-winning team that originated $2.5B+ in loans. I managed relationships with our largest clients and affiliates, and utilized technology and data to drive continuous process improvements and customer satisfaction. I also oversaw the successful transition to remote operations in 2020 during an unprecedented surge in loan applications. In addition to my fintech experience, I am also a co-founder, chef, event planner, and graphic designer for a pop-up restaurant concept in Richmond, VA. I enjoy combining my creativity, culinary skills, and business acumen to create memorable dining experiences for our guests and showcase local ingredients and talent.
