As a member of Slalom Build's Data & Analytics team, my specific responsibilities vary per project and per client. Typical roles and responsibilities include the implementation of data pipelines to safely and effectively migrate client data to the cloud using various cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure, as well as the development of data warehouses and data lakes to store data. Projects, so far, have heavily relied on Python and SQL scripting, data storage services in cloud platforms, and ETL services such as Azure Factory and AWS Glue. Future projects will open the door to many other new and exciting technologies and ideas!

As a fully-integrated member of clypd's team, I was able to contribute to the company's efforts of serving to deliver workflow automation, data-enhanced decisions, and tools for media partners to use to optimize their advertising sales via television.Participated in daily stand-up meetings and worked within a smoothly-run agile development cycle. Main responsibilities varied day-to-day, but significant efforts that I collaborated on were the TVOnTap API and the implementation of a streamlined process for media owners to collaborate and negotiate with their advertisers.Utilized as a back-end engineer, with Go as the main technology for development. Other technologies and utilities used were PostgreSQL, AWS, Git & Github, and VSCode as my IDE.

Required to know the rules and regulations of each sport. Set up and officiated intramural basketball, soccer, and volleyball, including open and co-recreational leagues. Managed players and equipment for graduate and undergraduate students. Maintained control of unruly and disorganized situations (people management skills).

Daily activities included the development of an internal web application that would help managers track the status of each product's release. Started from scratch and left with a beta version of the application in use. Heavily exposed to Web Development principles, including IIS, Windows Server, JavaScript, and SQL. I mainly focused on the front-end development of the application, and I develop using AngularJS on top of JavaScript.

Provided assistance to teachers in weekly sessions, in which children ages 7 - 13 used computer applications. Responsible for having proper knowledge of the specific computer applications and personable skills to be able to communicate with the children effectively. Specifically taught basic coding principles, basic mobile and desktop application development, and how to use certain features in the game Minecraft.

On a day to day basis, my job was spent updating code using Visual Studio for Cadence's widely-used application, Allegro ©. I was writing code in C++, replacing older C code in the process. My main task was to replace the Microsoft Foundation Class Library (MFC), which Allegro had currently used, with the Qt framework. In doing so, my work heavily involved the usage of object-oriented design principles. I was also involved in weekly staff meetings with a team of co-workers in which we discussed our current progressions, and how we could improve our software.
