As a Graduate Resident Director at Georgia Southern University, I help oversee the daily operations and management of a residence hall, serving over 300 students and supervising 7 resident assistants. I also coordinate and facilitate various educational and social programs, such as leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and wellness initiatives, to enhance the student experience and foster a sense of community.I am pursuing a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration, with a focus on student affairs and leadership. My academic background and professional experience have equipped me with multiple skills and competencies, such as group facilitation, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and relationship building. I am passionate about creating positive and supportive environments for students to learn, grow, and succeed. My goal is to become a higher education professional who can contribute to the advancement of student affairs and leadership in the field.
