Okay, so I started my career in LA. Left. Got out. Came to Boston. Started. And then stopped editing to manage. BIG MISTAKE. So then I opened this other company that did really well and then I opened Engine Room Edit in the fall of 05 with partner Scott Knowlton. We cut stuff. All kinds of stuff. We're pretty good and pretty proud of what we do. And we actually care about it. And after a billion years in the business (no really, it's like a billion) we can say it and mean it.And finally, I LOVE to tell stories. Mark of a good editor or a drunk.And then, in a fit, because we couldn't control the graphics, we opened our own company which eased my nerves at 10 pm for awhile while I was waiting in editorial because I knew they'd get it right.But then, I really wanted to be able to work on the creative too. I've been watching people screw it up for years so I figured, I can do this too (not the screwing up part) and we opened a production company. A damned good one. Brought in a new partner, Noah Lydiard, who really gets it and knows how to do it.And then, after four years, I sold it. In fact I sold everything to me two partners and I sleep very well at night knowing they will continue the fine work we started. And I'll keep on supporting them and the film industry in Massachusetts. I think it's in my DNA thanks to all that have infected me over the years. It's a virus I can totally live with.
