I grew up participating in a Vietnamese version of Boy Scouts, as early as the age of 4. It was there that I learnt and got to practice all the different forms of communication; listening, reading, writing and even “singing” with higher proficiency. Developing my own understanding of what it means to follow and lead by example; learning to interact and care after others in all age ranges, younger and older. Because of my abilities to speak the Vietnamese language fluently at a young age, I was able to take on jobs at restaurants that were Vietnamese speaking staffed. Allowing myself to explore what it would take to become an asset to all work environments that I have/will ever get the opportunities to: assist, work with and learn from. With the addition of extracurriculars, but more specifically through sports; I learned to assess and develop different strategies/work habits needed to maintain discipline for myself: truly understand where my strengths may lie, build on certain weaknesses and identify where my personal confidence/motivational factors come from. I hope to provide myself as a resource to all communities I am involved in, share the experiences/knowledge that I have been fortunate enough to gain with others and companies whose goals/visions align with my own.Thank You for taking the time to learn a little bit about me!
