Sr. Microwave Transmission EngineerCommunications Infrastructure Corp - (Cic) Nov 2006 - Mar 2015Hired as a staff engineer to produce preliminary and final designs of 23, 18, 11 and 5.8 GHz microwave backhaul networks for Clearwire, LLC and Sprint/XOHM in several major US cities. Duties included creation of extensive network designs in various software packages such as Pathloss, TopoUSA and Excel as well as directing the efforts of field survey crews as large as 10 surveyors. Successfully designed in excess of 500 paths in under 4 months. Duties expanded to include process improvements, training and software development to enhance the productivity and accuracy of the microwave backhaul engineering and surveying staffs. Co-creator/architect of PathDesigner(tm) microwave backhaul engineering design tool, a Windows-based software suite that enhances backhaul design productivity to a level unseen in the industry. Produced Low Latency microwave backhaul designs in 7 countries to date.
