The Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator, (CHPA) from the International Assn. of Healthcare Security and Safety. From the ASIS I hold their Security Management credential as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), in Investigations as a Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), and as a Physical Security Professional (PSP).I am a graduate of the Garmin IT Leadership course and the MO Hospital Assn. Leadership course, curriculums that develop effective leaders to drive organizations to higher levels of quality performance. I believe in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish strategic and operational organizational goals. Aligning best fit security functions with the organizations mission and goals is fundamental to all my endeavors.My emergency planning and Incident Command education includes FEMA Incident Command courses with completion of senior level ICS courses. My police career culminated in a Master Police Officer designation and provided me with real-world first hand exposure to a variety of crisis management methodologies and world class training. Project planning, security assessments, critical infrastructure protection, and the technical aspects of physical security protection programs are core interests of mine, and areas where I stay current on new threats through extensive study, courses and networking. I am a recognized instructor in CPTED, lawful use of force, firearms and range safety, with certifications to instruct both Law Enforcement and Security personnel. My Agile Scrum Master certification enables me to streamline workflows and train Teams to work in Agile processes. I am an FAA licensed commercial part 107 drone pilot. I have a proven track record of building a Security Team and it’s core infrastructure from the ground up or maturing already high performing Teams.
