• Facilitate diversity and inclusion training for campus students, staff, and faculty• Strategize with campus units on context specific diversity and inclusion issues and initiatives• Assist in implementation of campus-wide initiatives

- Serve as primary lead person for the planning and implementation of the Maryland Junior Science & Humanities Regional Symposium; 
- Recruit faculty, staff, and graduate students to serve as judges for above-mentioned symposium;

laboratories, a keynote speaker, etc.);

- Developed and administered residence life program model, informed by student development theory, in residence hall housing approximately 300 students- Hired, trained, supervised, and evaluated eight resident advisors who were responsible for producing programs that focus on diversity and inclusion, health and wellness, academic success, and exploration and engagement- Advised the hall council, consisting of six executive board members and responsible for representing student interests, developing hall-wide education and social programming, and recommending facilities improvements- Served on rotation as “on-duty” staff for seven halls with 2,300 residents, responded to student and facilities emergencies, and provided guidance in crisis situations - Adjudicated resident conduct cases, applied and tracked appropriate sanctions, and provided follow-up- Served on RA Training Committee and Banquet Committee - Initiated and coordinated campus-wide Bicycle Safety PSA video project in partnership with campus police- Allocated and reconciled total budget of $33,000IMPACT Leadership Village - Ensure the successful coordination of the Impact Leadership Village living and learning community featuring faculty presentations, student initiated leadership projects, service learning projects, and regional travel- Hired, trained, supervised, and evaluated five Impact Leadership Village Community Leaders responsible for producing programs that promote the living and learning community mission, supporting student academic success, and mentoring living and learning community participants- Advised the Impact Leadership Village Student Council, consisting of four executive members, responsible for developing student led initiatives that facilitate the development of leadership skills through practice and promote community development- Participated in the creation and implementation of assessment of Village classroom and residence hall experiences

- Led and developed learning outcomes, classroom assessment technique, lecture and activities for class session on “Sexuality and Masculinity”- Developed skills in establishing authority and credibility, developing teaching philosophy, employing classroom assessment techniques, creating a syllabus, and managing a classroom

- Hired, supervised and evaluated all YouthBuild staff, including two GED instructors, one construction manger and one case manager- Created and administered nine-month GED completion and carpentry instruction program schedule - Created recruitment strategy and led recruitment efforts for student participants - Managed strategic partnerships with community service providers, including advisory council meetings- Developed proposal for implementing a three-year, $800,000 budget, for supervisor’s review and approval- Submitted reports to Department of Labor on program’s productivity and progress- Efforts resulted in receiving consecutive grant allocations of $800,000, and significant increase in GED attainment

- Summer youth educational enrichment program- Directly responsible for oversight of all logistical aspects for programs at DeKalb, IL and Chevy Chase, MD sites- Hired, trained, supervised, and evaluated ten temporary staff members on the operations staff- Managed venue logistics relating to facilities and vendor relations (conference services, housing, catering)- Ensured proper package and shipment of all program materials to, from, and between program sites- Created and maintained systems for on-site office operations

- Planned, prepared, and delivered English and Math lessons to 6th and 7th grade students at Two Roses International School- Developed and implemented a fund raising effort to purchase student textbooks for 30 students - Created and administered a book-drive, at a US high school, to establish the Two Roses International’s first library- Provided appropriate feedback on written/oral work and employed effective classroom management techniques
