In this position I had to take over the development of a web-based application. The product was originally developed in Nice by another department of the company. After a short training period of 2 weeks, I managed to get to know the product thoroughly in a 3 months period and became an expert in this product. Development is done in PHP using a Zend Framework on an apache server and Javascript using Dojo libraries on the client side. Communication with backends is only done by transferring messages (xml, edi) to our back-end systems.As an experienced developer, I managed to train and motivate my new colleagues to get the most out of the team. In our day-to-day business, we use Scrum methodologies which I like a lot.During this period I got in contact with Symfony2 framework, twig templates and less stylesheets as well for a start-up project.

All-round position. I started as a helpdesk/support engineer in an IT department of 3 people. Main focus was supporting the internal IT users in a factory. Assistance with maintaining the workstations, maintaining the network and servers became part of my key activities during this period.After a few years the department was reduced to 2 people and I had to take over some developments on the ERP-system used in the factory. (MFG/PRO, Efas, QAD Warehouse system) The last years I mainly focused on integrating the local ERP packet into the company wide ERP system. As part of this I had to develop applications that could run on hand-held barcode scanners so that the flow of goods was closely monitored.Due to internal re-organisation my job became obsolete.
