Don Vitello has spent his career directing and producing television, for Discovery Channel, TLC, PBS, and NBC affiliates. From home shows to live symphony performances, from commercials to breaking news, if it sizzles, floats or sells, Don has directed it at least once.Beginning in 1994, the two-time Emmy winner directed 500 episodes of Discovery Channel’s daytime mainstay “Home Matters” including one season on location at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.An expert in “start up” productions, Don directed the first of seven seasons of “Epicurious” starring Michael Lomonaco for Discovery Channel and The Travel Channel. At the same time, he launched the first of 200 episodes of Christina Cooks, which airs on 110 PBS stations nationwide.A member in good standing in the Director’s Guild of America, Don loves directing.
