With years of experience developing plan sets, incorporating only the best materials into the designs, and only using the latest best building practices I will soon be offering end-to-end site construction of complete turn key single family homes. Directing all aspects of the design and construction process allows me to provide unparalleled attention to details and deliver high end smart homes. I build all of my new homes and structures exclusively with Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) and partner with the leading supplier, Premier SIPS. Acre Designs was a venture backed startup that launched two single family home designs in the Y Combinator 2016 winter batch. We design, engineer, package and ship all the materials to build a beautiful Energy Net Zero home directly to the job site. Acre reinvents the way homes are designed and constructed by treating housing as a consumer product. By providing all the materials, training for the builders and focusing on the full process the customer has a completely curated experience.

I founded this company purely for my need to be independently creative and deliver a superior product in remodeling and new construction. I worked directly with homeowners to help them realize their dreams both managing the projects and self performing much of the scope on remodel and new construction projects. I worked with several 501c3 organizations to maintain and remodel their facilities and was the primary contact for coordinating emergency response for facilities problems. Throughout the various projects my focus was to deliver the highest quality finished product within the homeowner’s and organization’s budgets. My attention to detail and customer satisfaction quickly earned me loyal customers that spread my business by word of mouth.

I build in all phases of numerous projects in light and heavy commercial and industrial. I was involved with large multi-building, multi-location projects spanning whole blocks and across cities and small builds on single sites. Our clients ranged from small family run companies to international corporation. I worked closely with our internal carpentry personnel, subcontractors, superintendents, project managers and the owners of Miller Stauch to deliver completed product on time and in or under budget.

I traveled throughout the US as onsite management on retail store projects. I worked directly with project architects, the retail companies project managers, and my team onsite and in the home office to complete advanced rapid build retail projects. These project had time restraints requiring completion in half the time while maintaining tight budgets. I completed and help to complete projects from New Jersey to New Mexico for Bed Bath and Beyond, Blockbuster Video and Payless Shoe Source.

I worked closely with the founder and lead Electrical Engineer and directly with our clients in building and testing at all levels from circuit designs, board layouts, sub-assemblies, and whole product assemblies for manufacture. I was instrumental in taking several products from the idea stage through testing to full production and wrote the technical procedures for product production. I worked in marketing, materials procurement, order fulfillment and shipping.

I worked with the top US manufactures of ballistic resistant materials, National Institute of Justice, US Department of Defense and California Department of Justice, and top US manufactures of firearms and firearm safely device companies. I tested body armor and other ballistic resistant materials to NIJ and DOD standards, firearms and firearm safety devices to CADOJ standards, and various specific testing standards directly for the manufactures of a wide range of products. I was instrumental in maintaining the testing certification for all the standard we performed as well as carried security clearances with various agencies.

I worked with aeronautical structural engineers to test aircraft airframes, exterior and interior components in full scale cyclic and static tests. I took the lead in building and maintaining the test fixtures, test components and was at the forefront of Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation throughout the structural test department.
