Advised the company founder and CEO, developed the initial 10-year financial model, established the initial administrative and finance infrastructure, compiled the investment deck and other materials, coordinated with legal counsel, and raised both operating and fund capital.• Interim Head of Finance of a team of fifteen (15) accounting and finance staff in all areas of AR, AP, GL and FP&A for a recently acquired $60-million private equity owned SaaS company.

Software and technology platform enabled multi-location medical services company delivering health & wellness solutions nationwide via a cloud based telehealth platform to self-insured companies seeking to improve employee health and reduce health-related costs.• Responsible for all financial, accounting and administrative functions, including human resources, legal, and regulatory.• Oversaw the tripling of revenue over four years as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a key member of the executive team developing the strategic direction of the company.• Mapped the regulatory strategic direction in the areas of delivering healthcare services directly to employers, nationwide telehealth offering, and establishing high-deductible health plan compliant billing procedures, thereby providing the ability to expand the customer and geographic market base. • Advised CEO and supported six (6) capital raising efforts, including two Preferred Stock offerings, two convertible promissory note offerings, and two Bank of America line-of-credit facilities.• Negotiated and executed the migration of company employees to the TriNet PEO organization, the largest PEO in the country, providing a streamlined platform for rapid employee growth.• Oversaw the successful completion of the first and subsequent four financial audits, enhancing the capital initiatives.• Developed a five-year strategic financial model in Excel for three distinct businesses, including full proforma financial statements.• Developed a 13-week cash-flow forecast model in Excel that is used to ensure strict control over the rate of cash spend each week.• Oversaw the selection of a new cloud based accounting system (Intacct) and management reporting system (Adaptive) and initiated the migration project from Quickbooks Enterprise.

Quantum Immunologics is an early stage biotech company that is focused on developing and bringing to market a cancer treatment utilizing immunotherapy (harnessing the body's immune system to find and attack cancer cells).• Developed a 10-year strategic financial model in Excel and drafted the business plan document for this start-up bio-tech company providing a flexible platform for long-term planning and capital raising initiatives.• Developed the initial accounting and finance infrastructure to support the company and its research and development efforts, as well as its FDA authorized phase I / II clinical trial focused on metastatic stage IV breast cancer.• Supported capital raising efforts focused principally at individual investors and oversaw the shareholder administrative for the 400 plus individual shareholders.• Completed the asset purchase of the exclusive license to develop and sell the treatments utilizing the universal cancer protein, Oncofetal Antigen (OFA).• Oversaw the successful completion of the first financial audit of the company.• Developed a 13-week cash-flow forecast model in Excel that is used to ensure strict control over the cash spend.
