I have over 24 years of customer support experience starting from supporting grandmas and moms and dads pc's to supporting factories and even executives. The last 12 years i have been a security engineer starting in Endpoint Security and then transitioning to the Email Security team that was created due to the need to secure over 6500 domains to help protect the company brand from bad actors impersonating the company. I was involved in the early stages of Dell growing and expanding the Endpoint security tools to support the company. We deployed Mcafee Anti-virus and agent with ATP along with Cylance to workstations. I was part of deploying multiple EDR solutions like Red Cloak, Carbon Black and RSA Ecat. We were also responsible for deploying our hard drive encryption solution to over 100000 endpoints. I was excited to join the email security team that Dell formed 2 1/2 years ago since it was going to be a new skill set i could learn and develop. Our team was able to secure over 6500+ domains with DMARC controls and help protect the Dell brand. When we enforced DMARC, Dell was no longer getting over 10 million mail messages that were coming in due to failing DMARC. We had various challenges we had to overcome due to lack of documentation etc but we were able to finish the project 2 1/2 years earlier than anticipated.
