I’m a Private Client Wealth Planner at Shadforths, a non aligned national financial planning business. So what does that mean? Essentially, I develop financial pathways for individuals or family units to build and protect their wealth.What I really love about this job is that every client is different – they have a different situation, a different understanding of risk, different thoughts about investing. So whilst the basics of risk, return, tax etc don’t change, we start with a blank piece of paper each time so the clients get to map their own financial pathway. So it’s really important that they share lots of their personal information with me and what things they would like to do or achieve in life – what really matters so I can advise them accordingly.I have a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland, a Diploma in Financial Planning from Deakin University and have completed the Financial Planning module at the Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA).
