Worked as a lead teacher with the rapidly growing 2nd-5th Grade cohort at our outdoor school, responsible for teaching all subject areas with an emphasis on student-led learning.

As a field guide I was responsible for groups of teenage students on backpacking outdoor expeditions and overseeing group structure, supervision, safety, curriculum facilitation, teaching wilderness skills, and acting as part of a student’s clinical therapy team.

My time at Brook Park included the creation and implementation of the Social Emotional Learning/ Wellness program. This program services all 850 students at Brook Park.

Responsible for teaching Preschool through 5th Grade English lessons, and collaborating with teachers and administration to expand and strengthen the English program in Veilla Del Rio Carrion.

Regularly planned and led staff development while serving as the Leader of the Responsive Classroom Committee, and Co-creator/ Co-Chair of the Multicultural Education (Equity Pedagogy) Committee.Created lesson plans and taught across all subject areas using data to inform instruction.

Designed and facilitated daily workshops to develop each child’s leadership skills, healthy living skills, and a sense of community responsibility.
