Dora Ng is a Vice President at CannonDesign | President of AIA Canada at CannonDesign. Colleagues describe her as "I first met Dora Ng in Shanghai, when she joined S2F in early 2009.  I was impressed right off the bat by her work experience at prestigious firms like SOM and HOK, but also found her very approachable and happy working with any of the staff - technical and admin. By the time I was asked to lead a project team Dora was working on, I quickly found how competent and dependable she was.  At one point, the project team had expanded to over a dozen people, and Dora always remained one I depended heavily on.  She not only handled her own design and CAD tasks without close supervision, but also provided leadership for the less-experienced architects and helped manage their tasks.  Of all the sticky issues we faced, one thing I knew (and took comfort in) was that if Dora was "on it", I didn't need to worry or micro-manage - it would be under control, done well, and completed on time - or I would get an early heads-up if there were any unforeseen issues that would bite us. Of all the talented architectural (and engineering) staff I had the pleasure of working with in China, and at S2F in particular, Dora definitely rises toward the top of the list for her professionalism, her competence, her hard work, and her dedication to the team. Beyond these attributes that made Dora a valued team member, she was also popular with all the staff, well-liked and respected.  It was a pleasure not only working with her, but also when she joined in socializing outside the office as well.  When I reflect on my fondest memories of 19 years living and working in China, it is people like Dora who instantly come to mind. " and "Dora Ng is a competent, thoughtful, creative, team-oriented and responsive designer.
