I’m Doramas Baez Bernal, a Machine Learning Engineer passionate about creating innovative solutions in computer vision and natural language processing.At The Agile Monkeys, I’ve been focusing on cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) research, specializing in:- Training and fine-tuning LLMs and embedding models.- Developing real-world applications utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.- Combining Information Retrieval & Multimodal Knowledge Representation (Multimodal models) to integrate complex textual, visual, and multimodal data.- Building scalable multimodal search engines and efficient language processing systems.Previously at Arquimea Research Center, I worked on:- Neural video compression algorithms to optimize data storage and transmission.- Neural radiance fields for advanced 3D reconstruction.- Dynamic Radiance Fields (4D). - Real-time rendering of the radiance fields (before Gaussian splattings). These experiences have honed my skills in designing and deploying machine learning models, fostering team collaboration, and implementing agile workflows. My journey began with a passion for computer vision during my undergraduate studies and later expanded into a master's degree in intelligent systems at SIANI University Institute.I’m always excited to connect with professionals, exchange ideas, and explore new opportunities in the AI field!
