I supported Environmental Simulation Test-Engineering of space and airborne hardware, and military hardware. I did this for R&D and production test overflow. I supported temperature-cycling, thermal-shock, altitude cycling, humidity, thermal vacuum, and vibration testing, with some flow and acoustics. Also, I was a shift-supervisor. Emphasis was always on safety, and doing the job right the first time.

I performed engineering development tests on needle-free drug delivery devices, including prototype assembly, precision mechanical test, data acquisition, and data reduction.

I did the prototype Hardware Design Validation Testing (HwDVT), and Design Margin Testing (DMT) of digital projectors. This included thermal, altitude, humidity, vibration & shock testing, HALT/HASS, and package testing. I implemented hi-speed imaging of shock & vibe phenomena as an investigative aid. After breaking prototypes every which way I could, I suggested design improvements to the development teams to make a better product.
