The functions of Information Technology, Security Operations, and Site Reliability are unified under the common goal of building and maintaining trustworthy systems to deliver efficient business outcomes across internal and external users.Included within that scope:- Obtaining and maintaining the SOC2 Type II certification.- The security obligations under various compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC2), state/federal regulations (e.g. GLBA), and customer expectations.- The Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) to deliver on requirements through operational controls, risk management processes, policies, and procedures.- Business-wide security awareness training and testing.- The CI/CD systems which test code, build artifacts, and provide actionable feedback to developers.- Establishing KPIs and alerting systems to encourage developer ownership of production.- The construction, maintenance, and security of our production cloud environments.- The definition and monitoring of our Service Level Agreements, Objectives, and Indicators (SLAs, SLOs, SLIs).
