I advanced from Flight Attendant and Frontline positions to executive leadership positions as VP of Inflight Service and Director of Operations & Guest Services. As the years progressed, so has my broad range of responsibilities and cross-functional expertise, which spans domestic and international operations. At peak, I effectively managed annual operating budgets exceeding $1.2B and provided sound leadership to high-performing and award winning teams with nearly 22,000 staff members, including managers. The airline industry, like most sectors, has experienced much change and transitions over the years. My well-rounded background includes direct involvement with airline mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and start-ups. Regardless of the role, I typically am tasked with ensuring seamless and profitable operations, optimal staff performance, and the highest level Inflight/Onboard services regardless of the circumstance. During my career, I launched employee recognition programs, uniform programs, unique recruiting strategies, and other innovative, company-wide strategies that resulted in multiple awards and top industry rating for onboard service, cabin crew, food/wine, and overall customer service. Although my career success is notable this is not what gets me out of bed in the morning. I am inspired and motivated to build and retain teams that want to work hard and surpass expectations.
