Growing up in the country side with my family focusing on agriculture, I quickly realized I had a passion for agriculture and could go into it for a career. This found me in Egerton University for my undergraduate and upon graduating ventured into teaching biology and agriculture, but I lacked passion and fulfilment. Within 2 years I quit, I started as a volunteer towards my journey to work with communities and am glad I did.I am an experienced Project manager and capacity development expert who has worked in 5 different countries for over 15 years for NGOs, SMEs in Agriculture. I have extensive knowledge and experience in development sector through my continuous networking in Africa and Middle East. I have managed 4 country programmes worth millions of dollars most recently in Rwanda, Nigeria and Ethiopia. I am accomplished in expanding development programmes through project management, capacity building, fund raising and partnership development for growth and sustainability. Am innovative when implementing projects, and possess excellent people skills that enhances partnership formation partners and have worked with private sector, to governments, SMEs and local NGOs to create sustainable and diverse connections for business expansion and fundraising for projects. I am keen believer in communities’ and social enterprise abilities to transform into trading blocs for private sector. I love to work with communities, SMEs, youth and women in Africa, knowing this is the key to building a sustainable future in developing regions.
