I specialized in licensing of NREL's diverse software portfolio, marketing of NREL's technologies, Intellectual Property Management Plans, and Material Transfer Agreements.

I was a high school Biology teacher and 8th grade science teacher. In addition to teaching, I was an advisor to the 10th grade, the school's cheerleading coach, and the faculty sponsor to the school's sustainability club.

My project centered on alloying iron pyrite with zinc such that we might be able to tune its band gap for use in multi-junction solar cells. I also taught Chemistry 101 and 102 labs and graded laboratory write-ups.

My main project was to uncover the purpose behind a novel and soluble form of the Mer Tyrosine Kinase Receptor. I also was responsible for the lab's colony of 200 mice, which included managing six different genetic variants in addition to the wild type.

I had various responsibilites regarding genetic sample intake, which included sample preparation for the lab, maintaining the chain of custody as samples are processed and customer service for failed samples.
