I am consumed by the world of chocolate as author of "Chocolatour: A Quest for the World's Best Chocolate,"​ highlighting my chocolate travels around the world. I published Volume I of the book in 2013 and continue to travel the world in search of memorable chocolate experiences.In September, 2014, Chocolatour won a bronze medal in the 2014 Readers'​ Favorite International Book Awards, and also placed as a Finalist in the 2014 NATJA Awards.I primarily write about chocolate & chocolate travel for my site at http://chocolatour.net. Hire me for a professional writing assignment, or to book me to give a custom chocolate tasting event or virtual presentation for your group.Prior to becoming emerged in the world of artisanal chocolate and cacao, I co-authored two books: The "Manitoba Book of Everything" is a Canadian bestseller. In March, 2010, I released "Before You Say Yes ..."​ a guide for volunteers and directors of non-profit boards published by Dundurn Press. I've delivered many keynote talks on the world of chocolate and have also taught courses and seminars on volunteerism, freelance writing, travel writing, copyright, and understanding feng shui. I was on the board of Access Copyright for six years as a creator representative to serve the writing community I so love and respect. I achieved my Distinguished Toastmaster Award in November, 2013 and am the founder and a past president of the Toastmasters in the Arts club based in Gimli, Manitoba. I travel the world in search of the best chocolate experiences and adventures. My work takes me to any destination that has a chocolate angle to promote, whether it is a chocolate festival, a chocolate spa, award-winning chocolate makers, the growing of cacao, cocoa cuisine, or any chocolate angle that catches my attention.

I joined this club in November, 2007 and was a charter member of the Prairie Voices Club in Oakbank, Manitoba before moving to Matlock.I was elected president of the Lord Selkirk Club in May/08, after having served as Vice President of Membership. Became past pres on July 1, 2009 and took on the role of VPPR effective July 1, 2010. It's a vibrant club with a diverse membership.
